last night - ooh it was a bad night for tv wasnt it
and they cooked for duncan bannantyne and his surgically enhanced mates - only the french woman looked normal
and the VANITY of the man fgs and selfpromotion

and his forehead alarms me. adn hsi odd accent - not quite scottish any more
and the " disaster" with the ice cream - but phewey they rescused it

I'm sad too , although the weak signal prevented me seeing soem of it properly. They were dire !! How did DB let them get away with it ? "Local" wine my arse ! Proposed Venison without checking it was even in season and showed so little finesse for the year or two of having worked at Le Manoir.

couldn't concentrate on any of it but the foodie prog seemed particularly pointless

Staggeringly awful. And I couldn't believe they're back again next week! I might have forgiven the BBC if it had been a one-off. Shame about his cheese and chutney ice-cream, though. I loved the idea of it being served with crackers.

I loved that programme.

They were so unbelievably hopeless. The chef was not too bad but the front of house guy was just so stupid.

Why did he blether on about not being able to source the venison instead of telling the truth that it was not in season so they decided to go for fresh beef rather than frozen venison.

As to serving warm white wine. Under which rock has he been living to not know that white wine is served chilled?

I have been to Mougins a few years ago, but was not staying in such a posh villa. Lovely wee town but full of snobby Brits exclaiming that the wine would have been better "if it had been able to breeeeeaaathe, don't you agree darling?"
