"The Restaurant" 2008 runners up, James and Alasdair, catering for an event for Duncan Bannatyne. Not sure I can watch it to the end!!!

Transparent format

Have a few struggles and it all ends up fine in the end

lilolilmanchester · 12/04/2010 21:40

yup, the other reason I'm not sure I can watch it to the end! So, it'll either be a cringe worthy catastrophe, or they'll pull it off as you said. If only I had the energy to do anything else!

I am flicking between this and 4 Weddings. Both are perfectly missable

LadyBlaBlah · 12/04/2010 21:42

Oh, and I can't believe this Sea Urchin thing. How bloody pretentious can one be?

lilolilmanchester · 12/04/2010 21:45

am going to watch 4 weddings next on +1. Maybe we need to get a hobby or something LadyBlaBlah!

Yeah it's sad. I do enjoy a good tv night though!

Can I just comment on what a tosser thing to say about impressing friends from Duncan and his wife. I would rather not have any friends than people who would be prepared to say my hospitality was shite when I had hired help, pandered to their every need and cooked a fucking spectacular meal. I would have anyone who criticised that out the door really rather quickly

DB is a pretentious little man

LadyBlaBlah · 12/04/2010 21:52

What a bloody miserable bunch they are !

lilolilmanchester · 12/04/2010 21:55

quite. Wouldn't mind that house tho!

as you predicted, all fine in the end! But just can't imagine ever treating people like that, even if paying them to cook for me!

DB and his cronies were foul
