It was on BBC4 last year wasn't it? Brilliant - I'll watch it again.

I think the dad was a bit of a toss pot. He had his mates round to play on the Spectrum and wouldn't let the kids join in - very possessive about the new technology.

And because they always had everything brand new the way they lived in, say, 1986 was nothing like how the average family lived in 1986. We didn't even get a video until sodding 1992.

we had black and white tv till 1984.

This programme was fab, very well done. I recommend it too!

i watched on four too last year. are they re-showing the sinclair programme, that was fantastic!
