Applause store tickets - Does anyone know anything about them?

I have recently joined the this site to get free tickets to watch a TV programme.

So far I haven't applied for any as it has always had an age limit, can anyone tell me is the age limit actually to watch the show or is it just to apply for the ticket to watch the show?

Hope you understand what I am trying to say!

The age limit is either 16 or 18, just slightly confused as DDs would love to go and see "Over the rainbow" and it says age limit 18plus, and I can't work out why!

Many thanks

The age limit is to actually be present at the recording of the show.

Thought so, thats a shame.

Thanks for replying

Ive gone to see top gear with these before. Beware by getting the tickets you are not guarenteed to get in. You could queue up for couple of hours then get turned away. Happened to my dd, his daughter and her mate at dancing on ice.

Really!

Did they just over book, or were they not the right age?

They were the right age but they release too many seats prob thinking not everyone will come. Its first come first served thing, they do a special yearly card now i think. Pay £20 for the year and guaranteed to get in.
