Why is this Dorothy thing on so late?

yes, i've just checked on-line radio times and its also on tomorrow at 6.30pm, i think that will be the live shows starting

It is so silly having women of that age audition for Dorothy-Judy Garland was only 15[I think] and Dorothy in Frank Baum's story was around 12 or younger.To be honest some of the ones I saw last night would look like mutton dressed as lamb [at the kindest]in pigtails and gingham.

Most entertaining bit is laughing a Andrew LW , hilarious faces, he looks so bored when they sing

I really enjoyed it - but how did Amy get through in the last group? Andrew said that he didnt think she was right and I thought Emilie was much better.

DH said its cos she is a glamour model so it might get the show a bit more popularity.

I really liked Camille, but I like Jenny best.

I was also surprised that Amy got through: she just doesn't look like a Dorothy and I don't think her performances were great either.

I like the gawky one who was in Camille's group (haven't got a handle on their names yet!)

They should have got proper teenage girls on, this lot could have auditioned for nancy and maria, which makes it pretty dull. There's some good singers tho and its very watchable. I like the scouse girl Stephanie.

Says on Amy's bio that she is only 22 I would've put her at late 30's. Loved the mix of songs they did in the 1st show. What do we think of Charlotte Church? Some comments about the singing were very constructive but at other times she seemed v. bored. Good mix of judges. Laughed when Lloyd Webber said he didn't want to give his opinions yet then did just that when he slated the last group.

ACtually on looking at the bios, they do seem to be younger than I thought.
