Anyone remember TV drama about London during Black Death?

I saw this a few years ago, I remember a vivid portrayal of the Black Death in London, 1340s. My neice is doing the topic at school now and it would be perfect to get a copy for her. But I don't remember what it was called or what channel it was! Does anybody out there remember it?

YES I do remember and very good it was too! Oh that poor boy and then God I cried at the end when it was just the woman who survived. But can't remember any useful details for you...

Defoe's Diary of the Plague Year is actually very easy to read and might be good source material for your niece but depends how old she is.

I will try to think of the name etc...

It's most likely to have have been made by Juniper Productions for Channel 4. Best to google Juniper Productions and look at their archive of programmes to check - get in touch with them for a DVD.

Have a look on Google for "The Roses of Eyam" which was on BBC possibly in the 1970s
