Yeah he is but he only sounds scottish sometimes

ChickensHaveSinisterMotives · 24/03/2010 19:57

Yes, its a scottish accent that fades in and out. Reminds me of that girl in Eastenders who started off with a bad american accent, and then morphed in to a posh british accent when she 'went native'

Haha Yes. I thought it was very dodgy.

A bit like Mohinder in Heroes who had a strong Indian accent for a few episodes then spoke the queen's english

I think he's supposed to have 'spent some time in Scotland' (probably at a boarding school or something). The character is horrible and the acting is dodgy. Not good.

The very strange thing is that neighbours is claiming the actor has a scottish accent left over from living there as a child.

Why on every fifth word?

The actor lived in Scotland until 2003, so they had to changed the backstory of the character. He is now 21.

Could they not find a teenager to play a 16 year old? It's all wrong.

addictedtothefirsttrimester · 26/03/2010 21:14

the story is he's lived all over the world, including scotland, and he's picked up a mixture of accents, hence the mixture of american, scottish and australian. and i think thats actually his accent!

but i agree, they could have got a 16 year old ot play a 16 year old, but then they wouldnt have been able to give him certain story lines hes going to play so it had to be someone older iygwim
