I HATED physics at school (did bio/chem instead) and have found this series totally fascinating so far.

I totally heart Brian Cox. Loved physics, did A level, was pants at chem.
My kids love this too, which is another reason to enjoy.

Why is it on so late?

My 10yo would love this.

Spose he can get it on iplayer?

bramblebooks · 21/03/2010 21:30

Yes on iplayer and I think it's repeated earlier on during the week.

Yes lapin, I was very jealous of close contact with military aircraft.

PavlovtheCat · 21/03/2010 21:31

Oh he's great isn't he - really engaging and seems so interested in the science. Although a lot of it is washing over my head, I feel several IQ points better by the end of his programmes

upahill · 21/03/2010 21:52

Oh we all love it here!! Now that Five has gone rubbish on Friday night due to the fact they have moved NCIS to Wednesday (WHY?!) we watch Wonders then.

bramblebooks · 21/03/2010 21:56

He is such a happy bunny.

Wonder what skincare regime he uses?

youngerthanspringtime · 21/03/2010 21:57

love it here as well. But, doesn't Brian Cox look like he has a permanent semi-smile on his face?
he's a dish. and his enthusiasm is an asset to the program.
yes, love it.

upahill · 21/03/2010 23:13

I was staggered to find out he was 42. At first I thought he must be a CBBC childrens presenter wanting to branch out BUT no he is a bona fida professor!!

I Love Sunday nights at the moment, Wonders with the lovely Brian. Just before him at 8pm is the scrummy Simon Reeve on Tropic of Cancer [swoons]
