Have to say Shelagh is a proper horsey bird! My friend was halfway through mucking out her horse's stable when her waters broke, she carried on and finished the stable before having a shower THEN telling her hubby they needed to go to hospital!
I'm pre-ttc but have assisted with plenty of foalings & can only say if only we women had it as easy as the mares do! The longest foing I attended was about 20 mins from waters breaking to birth!
