Richard had two sons from a previous marriage, but he said he was not around so much because he was in the ARmy.

That was a lovely programme.

DF they had an on off 7 yr relationship, they met when was driving a milk tanker I think she said, she got pg whilst on a break but didn't want to stay with the man. Texted Richard to say she was pg, and he was delighted. Unconventional but lovely couple.

i read the book 20 odd some years ago and enjoyed it, and enjoyed the film that was on recently but just knew it was my mumsnet name , y'know?

um shelagh and her man were together lots of years with lots of breaks and during one break she was with another man but came back to richard.
