Could this really happen in RL though?

You'd hope the police actually searched for the child if this was real life, handing out fliers isn't really enough.

Does anyone know if he is found safe and well or not ?

The police in Blackpool are too busy dealing with hen and stag parties fighting and being generally anti-social in the street to find the time to do actual real police work.

At least Simon has gone missing in the touristy bit. God help him if he wanders off on to Central Drive.

I think he reappears on Monday. So don't fret .

vertity same here, my DS of the same age is by no means stupid - but he would never pull that off!

What a shame that such a brilliant storyline came to such a ridiculous end.
