No she's auditioning for the lead role in the West End staging of 'Thatcher, the musical'

I did wonder if she thought she could turn into Thatcher by being really, er, straight-talking.

why did you think she was on drugs?

because she came across as a bit unhinged, talking really fast. And she is used to being on telly and is not normally like that. You might have said she was drunk except her diction was very clear. Does cocaine make people behave like that?

She should be on it a lot more often. She probably won't be though

I reckon she decided to model herself on Germaine Greer, quite missing the point that Germaine Greer is actually sincere and has integrity.

I never like to diagnose by remote, UQD. I prefer to think the drama of the occasion got the better of Carol.

Orlando - I'm a keen student of women's politics so respect Germaine Greer's contribution to the debate.

I could praise her sincerity and integrity only if she refrained from giving a regular kicking to women who she considered more threatening to her based not entirely on political or ideological debate.
