Spiderman DVD: which version for 4/5yr olds?

Sorry! This may be the wrong place to post. DS is at nursery and most of his friends play at being spiderman. He has no idea what is going on, so I thought about getting him the DVD.

Is there a younger child version that can be recommended? I remember seeing the film that came out around 2002, but I think it may be a bit too PG for my little chap.

I bought the old cartoon series on double DVD on Amazon Marketplace for my DS2 (4.6). He, DS1 (8) and DS3 (2.10) absolutely love it.

Maybe you could buy something like that instead?

When you say the old cartoon series, is that the 1967 series. It's hard trying to decribe the fronts?

They have the same series as allaboutme's DS, so I think it is from the 70s.

The front would have the traditional Spiderman picture, not the newer, darker background version.
