Half watching 'enders half MNing was a little taken aback by music... then... no duh duh's

have missed it tonight. Had no idea there would be these radical developments. What exactly did they change? (details needed)

they always do the special sad music for a funeral type episode

they always put that soppy piano music on in a super sad scene at the end...I turned to DH and said actually the piano did nothing to add to the drama and all I could think of was 'Howards Way' from the 80s (I think the Eastenders theme was composed by same guy who did Howards Way).It sounded like an 80s throwback.

ooo I didn't. It used to scare the bejeesus out of me (and I was in my teens when it was on). Eek!

was it just me or was the music really loud i think thats why it took me by surprise, and prob why i've never noticed it before!!!

Oh did they do that lead into the theme music with piano swelling bit . Remember that from Grant leaving for South America and Kathy for South Africa too. OOh and Jamie dying on Christmas day. Im very soppy and that always gets me. Well whatever happens to Peggy Im sure there will be a full orchestra rendition for that.
