How strange was that ending?

I sat open mouthed thinking "Oh no, Adam has commited suicide!

then out he gets laughing!!!!!!!!!

Yes, was very odd.

Am thinking he did try to commit suicide and was laughing in a manic fashion because he failed but, seriously,????????????????????

Think it was his realisation that he can't even kill himself properly, he even makes a mess of that!. I really like his character, relieved he wasn't killed off - phew!

I do enjoy Casualty, have a bit of a thing for Jay!
