Really stupid question - do your waters break after you start labour? Mine went and nothing happened so was induced two days later...

she seems a bit nicer now....I just thought she was quite rude immediately asking if they had plans for any more and suggesting contraception!

heather your MIL was at your DDs births!!!

My waters with DD1 were broken by the midwife.

With DD2 and DS they went spontaneously shortly before they were born.

BelleDame some peoples don't even break

with dd2 mine broke 20 mins before she was born

She was the midwife that Steve and Tracey had in the first week.

1 cm - god love her

1cm dilated - the most demoralising comment you'll ever hear

Poor Joy - 1cm.....

I love Joy! She's having a hard time of it, poor wee lamb!

belle my waters broke 2 mins before I had DD, just as the midwife was about to brake them!

Wow - I really am/was clueless (not planning any more, which is probably just as well)!

dh and I are in hysterics watching this
