She's probably very sore mamazon - all that Prostin and lots of exams plus a posterior cervix. Not nice for her.......

SparkyMalarky · 02/03/2010 21:13

spilttheteaagain · 02/03/2010 21:14

this is true Betty, but hopefully one is a bit more out of it by that point (if you're lucky...)

JollyPirate · 02/03/2010 21:14

Spiltthetea - the vagina has wonderful stretching qualities - you will be fine.

IHaveABlueCar · 02/03/2010 21:14

I always found the exams the most painful bit of labour. At one point with ds2 I shouted "get your hand out!"

expatinscotland · 02/03/2010 21:14

And it appears to have done nothing for her.

ilovesprouts · 02/03/2010 21:15

Eglu · 02/03/2010 21:17

I do feel sorry for Joy, she has been in hospital ages.

littlemisslozza · 02/03/2010 21:17

I was induced with DS1 and my cervix wasn't ready either, examinations were not nice, made me cry. I did go on to have him via forceps but the thought of those examinations while I was induced still make me wince! Poor Joy...

MakemineaGandT · 02/03/2010 21:18

Induction takes ages sometimes expat - and many women stull get a nice normal delivery. Or her body just might not be labour ready in which case they will need to do a cs - no way of telling without trying the induction process though.
