What happened to Series 3 Total Wipeout?

Why did they only show the first episode and then start showing repeats of series 2? Series 3 course did seem too easy though. Anyone know the official reason?

no idea. wE thought it was odd as well.

The Beeb are really pissing me off at the moment, what with this, Waterloo road and their 'new' series of homes under the hammer and a new life down under - which are both basically repeats what the feck are they doing with license payers money. [saddo emoticon]
