Neighbours - New actor to play Declan

They are recasting Declan as James Sorenson is leaving. He is IMO too good to act in neighbours but he's also the main reason I watch at times.

Not sure if recasting ever really works.

Is Declan still in high school? He must be a total flunkie!

What happened to his kid by the dead Didge?

I can't imagine his being that attractive to forever-16-year-old girls with a kid in tow?

Did Rachel finally graduate from high school and tell Susan and Karl to go piss up a rope?

Rachel won a magical scholarship to study in London, despite not having finished school. Ty, thankfully, folowed her over there.

Her replacement, Suny, has been and gone (today) so we await a new substitute Rachel. Just not eagerly.

Declan et al seem about to leave High School at last, but that makes me fear they will bring in an influx of new school-age ones so as not to waste the set. Toadies child is being thrown into high school so many many years of scintillating storylines yet to come. Although Libby will be the only teacher left.

Declans child India is being raised by Declan, Paul Robinson and Rebecca. And virtually the entire community partcipates in free childcare. Which must be nice.

Toadie has spawned!? That's almost as scary as that Home and Away shit.

Yeah, IRL Rachel would have told Susan and Karl to bite her and run off with Angus.

Forgot Angus, they keep bringing in the teachers and writing them out.

Toadie fostered, then adopted i think, Callum. They are freakishly alike in persona. But in fairness the Callum child can actually act. Shame about the lines he has to say.

I wish they'd waste Karl.

Or Susan.

Susan has been recast as a manipulative shrew these past few weeks.

oh and pippa went into a cupboard and came out as someone else and nobody noticed

susan and karl are tiresome.

The numerous Lucys were the funniest and also Selina on Home and Away when the actress got glandular fever in rl they just put someone else in whilst she was ill and then brought her back when she was better.

yeah that replacing an old actor with a new one is just stupid... i know it's only tv, but it makes it seem so amateurish... and if the acting's bad, you need all the help you can get suspending reality.

The worst was when they replaced blonde Hayley in Home and away with a ginger girl who looked like her nemesis Kit

They did it with Sally's husband too in home and Away...or is that Neighbours.....err.....what was his name...he was tall with bleached blond scrunchy hair and came back shorter with short dark hair, then died not literally that quick.

Flynn Saunders (Home and away)

Quite recently Libby in Neighbours transmogrified into someone else for a month or so. Which was weird.

Oh yeah when the actress had glandular fever - she went to work as 1 libby and came home another one and nearly drowned and became the first one

i still remember when they changed cheryl in neighbours. large red headed lady replaced by short blonde. i was soooo confused as a kid by that!

i did enjoy the replacement libby as she seemed much less whiney than the usual one.

I HATE the way they're building up a Kate/Declan romance.

Kate is so utterly horribly annoying I can't stand her.... AARGH

Kate looks about 30 aswell! The romance is icky!

I was also warming to replacement Libby. I was left with the feeling she'd drowned in that river as she went into the water but never came out.
