Anyone else Lost?

Thank god Sayid came back to life! I'm already more than a smiggin confused, but I guess that's why they call it Lost. I'm loving it so far. Can't believe it's the last season. Here's hoping Sawyer has to go shirtless lots this series. Anyone care to give their theories as to what the hell is going on. Who is the Locke lookielikie?Who are the temple people? Where is Jacks fathers body? Too many questions but you get the idea. Let's hear your Lost theories.

I wonder if Jacob is using Sayid's body as a proxy, in the same way that the smoke monster is using Locke's body as a proxy?

What has puzzled me to date is why the smoke monster did not attack Locke way back in an early episode when Locke was alone in the jungle. Locke later told Jack, 'I've looked into the eye of this Island... and what I saw was beautiful'. It's almost as though the smoke monster singled out Locke right from the start....which seems a bit like the 'free will vs fate' theme that runs through the entire series!

Oh i'm waaaaaaaaaaaay beyond Lost .

We sky+ some of series 5 and were never in the mood to keep up with it (because its so confusing) so now series 6 has started we're catching up. We had 5 eps to watch. 3 got watched last night and the other 2 we've watched tonight. It hurts my head

TheElephant....I'm glad we've managed to entice you back...its just too good to miss. Yes Locke + Sayid seem to be the proxy bodies, which are being inhabited by Jacob + BlackSmoke - just who is who? I reckon Locke is the BlackSmoke (evil) and Sayid has just come back to life with Jacob inside him (good?).
Also do you think the BlackSmoke is the guy dressed in black who, on the shore years ago said to Jacob "i can't kill you because rules forbid me, but I will find a way around the rules and kill you"

I'm also intrigued by the alternative stories when the plane lands safely. Locke and Jack - is Jack going to operate on Locke, Clare and Kate in the taxi - will Clare make it to the adopters?, Sayid will he find Nadia? Sawyer's been eyeing Hurley up - is he going to con him out of his millions?

What was Desmond doing on the flight? I thought he'd been on the island for years previously?

Anyhow, even if it all does your head in, how could you bear to miss out on the eye candy

Haven't noticed the extra weight yet.....I guess I will have to study more carefully

Skymoo, I didn't think of that, but no spoilers as such, because none of us have a clue what's going on! We are just discussing our perceptions of what we've seen so far and not discussing any future episodes so hopefully won't be spoiling it for anyone

I've lost it a bit with Lost - bringing people back to life is a bit Bobby Ewing In The Shower "it was all a dream" for me. Here's hoping it gets a bit better next week.

No idea what Desmond was doing on the flight, perhaps only Jack could see him? I guess because the island is now underwater, then that would explain why Desmond was unable to press the button and hence cause the plane to crash.

Yes - I need to watch the bit on the beach with jacob and the other bloke talking to work out whats going on there - the other bloke is definately black smoke guy though.

Sawyer looked amazing on the plane - back to his best...

I dont understand what Desmond is doing on the flight either...

He, the entity that seems to be using Locke's body, told Jacob on the beach that he would one day find a loophole that would allow him to kill Jacob.....and he did eventually find that loophole by convincing Ben to stab Jacob.

Yes - who are all the people in the temple though and what time are they in - is it basically now on the island (or is it just after when the plane would have crashed and if thats so why is the air hostesses hair so long?) and now in the alternative reality where the plane didnt crash or is that reality in the past?
