Did anyone see Come Dine With Me last night with someone actually being sick?!

I'm not sure if it was an old episode - it was on last night.

A chap ate something he didn't like (an egg?) and was loudly throwing up in snooty woman's downstairs toilet. Everyone else at the table could hear - then he came back and carried on with the meal!? I mean how??!
How could anyone continue after that? Dh and I were

I saw it, it was hilarious. I don't know whether I felt worse for him, or for the poor hostess who made the meal.

She was very annoying though.

The other woman was hilarious too. Totally batty

Yes, mad as a box of frogs. Great show though.

I think I saw that a while back, you could hear him being sick from the dinner table couldn't you? Very appretising...

It is an old episode - very funny though.

There is a lot of "scandal" surrounding CDWM at the moment because shock, horror, most of the Celeb ones, the homes are hired. Now there is a surprise.

I think he was faking it/had made himself sick as a plot to win. Honestly, she just didn't seem like the type who would serve up an uncooked egg and even if she did, would it really make you sick immediately?
He seemed like a bit of a tw*t who really really wanted to win. As did she.

Ah yes, I see it's going to get all contrived now and spoil itself.

A bit like only the very first Big Brother was any good before everyone started playing it for laughs/publicity.

Oh well...I stil love David Lamb though. Hey I just Googled him Look. He's younger than I'd thought he'd be.

Hmm thanks for the link Bendy. He's very funny, best part of it sometimes.

Am also a Dave Lamb fan, if you ever catch an early episode he is far more restrained and its not nearly so hilarious. Apparently the format is a hit all over the world. Would be interesting to see if other countries also employ a catty narrator.
