Corrie - Who would wed Steve Macdonald?

I just came across a news article on Suranne Jones who used to play Karen Macdonald, and it got me thinking - how the hell does Steve get all the women??

As far as I know there has been Vicky, Fiona, Karen, Tracey, Michelle and Becky.

All of whom are pretty attractive and confident.

The way the character acts in Corrie is outrageous though - who would stay with a guy like that.

Lol I know! He lives with his mum in very cramped conditions and has an awful track record. How does he do it??

Mind you...I've always had a soft spot for him. He can be v funny.

He is not very attractive.
He has bad teeth.
He has dreadful dress sense.
He has 2 businesses, has top of the range Merc as a taxi and bought Michelle a £4000 engagement ring, yet like you say, lives in a dingy flat above the pub with his mum.

I would steer well clear!

Though I do think Becky is his best match yet !

i think he is a funny character, but never mind his teeth, what about his hair?!

He is a good character well written.

He does have nice blue eyes but dodgy hair.

Oh he is lovely. I would. He makes me laugh adn deep down he loves his daughter. I know where he lives and the pub he drinks in. He is a nice guy in the pub and is happy to chat to people at the bar.

Ken Barlow however, how the hell does he ever get all the women?!!!!

He is quite cute/sweet, agree nice eyes, but not really husband material. Doesn't he just pick all the new girls in the street though? So they wouldn't know his track record, unless I suppose they talked to the other characters about him.

Corrie is odd though - how many young and old people socialise under one roof all the time like that in rl?

I agree Bendy and last night they had Lady Gaga singing Poker Face in the background of The Rovers.

Somehow I can't see that happening in RL!!!

Agree that he has nice eyes, and when he first came to Corrie I must admit that I did fancy him (I think he was 16 or something )!

I actually saw an interview with him when he had his own jacket and flat cap on, and he looked ok, so maybe the hair/dress sense thing is a big thing for me !

But honestly character wise, he has been such an asshole to Becky - I don't know why she didn't lamp him!

He's very unfortunate in having developed the "Phil Collins" island of hair (completely divorced from the rest of his hairline at the front) at such a young age.

Mind you, look at how many women Dev has managed to ensnare over the years ..... and even worse what about Phil Mitchell?!

It's not so much the amount of women, more the quality of them !

They do but they only seem to play one band so I was surprised to hear Lady GaGa last night. I love Steve, he cracks me up. Oh, poor Becky, this isnt going to end well for her is it?
