Utterly fabulous isn't it?

preggersplayspop · 30/01/2010 17:46

love it too

TheFallenMadonna · 30/01/2010 17:47

oh god me too. DH gives up and goes to bed in disgust. But I had an interesting conversation with some of my year 9 girls in PSHE the other day about the 'celibacy club', so I reckon it's practically work...

queenoftheslatterns · 30/01/2010 17:47

oh I love it!

EccentricaGallumbits · 30/01/2010 17:47

ssshhhhhhh!

Fleecy · 30/01/2010 17:52

I love it!

squeaver · 30/01/2010 17:54

Ahem. It is NOT rubbish.

Earlybird · 30/01/2010 18:04

I think it is great fluffy entertainment - certainly not 'rubbish' on par with Celebrity Big Brother and some of the other baffling highly rated telly shows!

MerlinsBeard · 30/01/2010 18:05

No not me. Oh no no nooooo

Paolosgirl · 30/01/2010 18:12

I'm hard pressed to find another word that adequately describes the whole hysterical pregnancy storyline!

So glad I'm not alone - I feel I can hold my head high now . Sue is my favourite - what a woman!

Oh yes - I love Sue. Definitely the best character

Paolosgirl · 30/01/2010 19:42

It is High School Musical for grown ups though, innit?

Love love love glee. I'm going through the episodes faster as DH has been amazing and downloaded them for me! Sue definitely has the best lines. I'm starting to get a bit annoyed at some of the storylines, though, they just don't seem to be going anywhere. The musical numbers are fabulous.

catsdontscreetch · 30/01/2010 20:48

Love it, love it, love it. ANd it's the type of thing I would normally run a mile from.
I must have been the only girl in the 70/80s who didn't like Fame, Flashdance, Grease and have NEVER EVER seen anything remotley associated with High School Musical (shudders)
Sue is fantastic.

CMOTdibbler · 30/01/2010 20:52

Me too ! And it's soo not the sort of thing that I would ever usually watch

Paolosgirl · 30/01/2010 20:58

DH 'discovered' it and raved about it so much that I started watching it - and it's now become our must watch programme. Not the sort of thing either of us would normally watch either!

SlackSally · 01/02/2010 23:04

I love it so much that my best friend and I have agreed to making a project out of learning the entire 'Single Ladies' dance.

pissovski · 02/02/2010 19:34

i adore it!!

AmazingBouncingFerret · 02/02/2010 19:41

Oh God I was literally howling whilst watching the Single Ladies episode. Tears were running down my face when all the football players started doing the dance.
Its m new favourite TV show (after trueblood of course)

EightiesChick · 02/02/2010 19:52

I really like it too. It's much better than trash without having to worry that it's great artistic TV. My one reservation is the way Terri is being written. The whole pregnancy storyline has been treated as pure comedy and I think that overlooks her genuinely thinking she was pregnant - not that she deliberately deceived him from the start - and has cast Will as some kind of ever-patient saintly dolt for putting up with her. He should have the guts to go if he's really that unhappy. Rachel, on the other hand, gets to be someone you laugh at but also feel truly sorry for at different points. I don't think Terri is supposed to get that kind of sympathy.

But for all that, it's great and Sue in particular is fab. DH likes it too and it wouldn't normally be his thing either (although we were both Buffy fans back in the day).
