The only people I've heard of amongst the competitors are Jimmy Osmond and Darius. Never come across any of the others, that I know of.

Very out of touch and have only watched this amount of this one. Not sure I'll be watching any more, but that Marcella must do some good stuff in her normal career, even if it's not the sort of music I'm normally into. (But have to admit, I wouldn't actually pay to see her in an opera.)

It has actually drawn me in, over the last couple of weeks. Really fascinating watching them struggle and learn - it's hard!

Darius looks fantastically centred on stage. If you close your eyes the sound is quite underwhelming but he's very good indeed at selling what he's got.

I think he's hustling anyway - am expecting miraculous blossoming of his voice in the final weeks.

We're watching it on sky plus- have just seen Marcella sing. I was very impressed.

Do you think so? I think he's struggling a bit because his voice is so low. I do hope it is a hustle, though - I have a range of feelings for Darius, including fondness, amusement and something altogether more primal.

Marcella was rather fab, wasn't she?

I'm also finding myself surprisingly impressed by Bernie Nolan - words I never thought would enter my head, let alone be expressed publicly.

Poor Danny. Not a great offering, but you could see how hard he tried.

Missed Marcella this week, but think she's fab (or would be if she could let go of her massively tense jaw and neck muscles).
