Really really wanted to watch this series and due to DH being a numpty I missed the first one!

Can't find if it is repeated anywhere though!

Don't know, but if not, I don't think it would be a big problem to your understanding of the series, tbh. It's a fairly basic premise, so would be happy to fill you in.

Yes, it's quite good in a legal drama kind of a way. It ain't The Soporanos, y'know, but watchable enough Monday night fare.

Good Wife (her out of ER) married to Bad Husband (him out of SATC) who is imprisoned for some sort of sexual/political shenanigans at the start. She stands by him but is vair vair cross.

She has to go back to work (has been trailing wife for 15 years or so, despite highly promising start) as a lawyer. First episode shows her overcoming older woman in junior position prejudice and first day nerves to win a case.

Mentor is woman from Cybil, and the MIL is someone I recognise from something too, so cast is quite good.

4od does not wprk for me, and i missed first episode too, so would also appreciate it if it were repeated!

The Brit Doctor has grown on me - she was a bit annoying at first, but am liking her better now.

Though am absokutely wetting my pants with excitement about return of Mad Men tonight.

The guy was let off of rape because the good wife proved the DNA test was faulty in a civil court, but the judge still felt it was her word against his to consent, so didn't feel confident there wasn't a reasonable doubt.

However he was then re arrested because the criminal attorney found some untained DNA and was happy he could win a case against the rapist with that.

Oh I am really enjoying this- and I love Julianna Marguiles, she has a real old school glamour thing going on, and her acting is very understated and charismatic. The series has had some great reviews too.

I'm loving it too, in a sort of LA law crossed with ER king of a way
