Cranford. I love it. How the hell did I miss it on mainstream TV???

My nan raved about it. Somehow it bypassed me- I brought the DVD ( Cranford & Return to Cranford) and I am obsessed.

I love it, especially Imelda Staunton.

Just about to go and watch the very last (xmas) episode- I cant believe I missed this amazing programme the first time around.

I don't suppose that there will be more plans for it???

Is Lark Rise to Candelford similar (I'm craving period dramas I think)

Yes Lark Rise is similar. I kept mixing them up when watching them (at least one actress is in both).
