Nigella on ITV1- did anyone see it?

missed it today -was it any good

it was ok. nothing amazing. she cooked a meal with chicken and mango and a passion fruit dessert and chatted to val kilmer.

just can;t imagine her interviewing someone a la Jonathon Ross/Gloria honeyford. Must have been a bit stilted

think she is a lovely person- but crikey it made me cringe!

Have to agree. Watched it today and, though I dearly love Nigella, it was painful. Stilted conversation and she looked as if she was just trying to get through it.

I only caught the tail end of it and she appeared strained.
Infact i was going to start a thread asking if she's had plastic surgery! She was always so pretty and today seemed all .....tight...and wierd!!!!!

I like her, but why is she doing this sort of thing? Wouldn't have thought it was up her street and she doen't need the money?

I have watcehd a couple of times now and it is awful actually.
What is she wearing?????? Another who could be going on "What not to wear", she is a mix of Olivia Newton-John in Grease and Julie Andrews in the Sound of Music ... with boobs in a push up bra (well maybe it's not push up and she just has loads of it!)

Saw it last week, not today

I heard a vicious rumour that she's v short sighted but won't even wear contact lenses on screen in case you can see them. She can't read the autocue and so relies on people 'in her ear' telling her what to do and that's why it comes across so stilted.

She also looks too hot... she has sweat on her upper lip .... not impressed.... but her dress sense is really awful!

I have prioiry tickets to the show on 14th July (Thursday) which I now can't use. Does anyone want them?

Made her chicken nuggets yesterday (she did them on the show). Very nice.

Still got the tickets for tomorrow - Neil Morrisey is joining her.

But it is awful TV - long time since I've seen anything so painful to watch. Even the guests are obviously wondering what's going on.
