I saw the pilot in Florida last May and am so so pleased it made it over here. I loved it! So fun.

misdee · 11/01/2010 23:08

just watched the first and now watching the second on e4 +1

love it!

squeaver · 11/01/2010 23:10

BitOfFun · 11/01/2010 23:12

Tell me what it's about quickly? I will give it a go on E4+1, but I've obviously missed a lot.

swanriver · 11/01/2010 23:37

It was fab, just watched two episodes. I don't think I can get enough of musicals. The wife is truly awful. Puzzle Night LOL I must avoid that, veering dangerously near that sort of scheduling in our house.. And the heroine is allowed to be irritating too as well as wonderful.

But why are all grownup women anorexic in shape and size, is that just how American beauties are? For some reason teenagers allowed to be normal shape and sizes.

MarsLady · 11/01/2010 23:46

Wonderful!

Molesworth · 12/01/2010 00:51

Fabulous - I laughed so hard when they did Push It and Jane Lynch (as Cheerios coach Sue Sylvester) is - as always - EPIC!

squeaver · 12/01/2010 12:30

BoF, just saw someone on Twitter describe it as Mean Girls + American Idol.

anniebear · 12/01/2010 13:15

bootoyoutoo · 12/01/2010 14:20

Loved it too and have an unsuitable crush on the lead Jock (although seriously doubt the actor has seen his teenage years for a while ).

TheDevilWearsPrimark · 12/01/2010 15:22

He's 27 - it's fine!

We have the entire series on dvd - love it

satc2bringiton · 12/01/2010 16:36

MissWooWoo · 12/01/2010 17:24

and oh! that lovely school teacher's clothes!

I started a thread on S&B but no-one seemed impressed with her wardrobe whilst I was positively drooling over it last night

Molesworth · 12/01/2010 17:28

Chloe, I would say it's fine for teenagers

satc2bringiton · 12/01/2010 17:35

Fizzylemonade · 13/01/2010 17:03

Just posted on another thread of this, loved it. Puzzle night was hysterical, especially puritan jigsaw, also wife saying she over-worked with the whole I'm on my feet 4 hours a day 3 days a week.

Loved the humour, cheerios coach v funny. Everyone else got the line "just a small town girl" going through their head?

Cannot wait till next week. May have to order dvd if available.

DiamondHead · 13/01/2010 17:12
