Chuggington for mummy

I am absurdly overexcited about the new season of NCIS. But I've realised it fills the same place in my TV watching that chuggington does for my DS - a cast of familiar if stereotyped characters that I'm emotionally attached to, and comfortingly repetitive plot lines. Though I'm assuming that at his age, DS does not feel about Koko et al the way I do about Special Agent Gibbs (yeah, I know he's old, but I am too, so I reckon it's ok to lust).

So, what fills that Chuggington-shaped hole in your life?

Waking the Dead

Ooh, Waking the Dead - was that the one that had the really cute young pathologist who popped up on C Beebies just before Christmas reading the bedtime story? I think I may have overdone my enthusiasm - DS was saying "hello Tom" to him, then (when he got replaced) "Tom? Tom?" (Yes, I go for much younger men too... )

I must admit I don't watch NCIS or Wire in the Blood or any of these exciting dramas, but I do have a bit of a thing for Chuggington's Morgan, always look up when he comes onscreen!

I also adore the person who voices Gobo the Goat in Big Barn Farm. I can't work out whether it is a man or woman, but whoever it is has superb comic intonation and timing.

Have I slain yet another thread? Come on, someone admit that Chuggington's Morgan is fit, or that Gobo the Goat it bloody funny!

WingedVictory · 21/01/2010 22:08
