So You Think You Can Dance

Anyone else watched this?

Would have been better if we'd seen more dancing and less shots of people chewing their nails, judges talking, weeping etc.

I thought it was rubbish. I just don't think it works as a concept.

Well there is an hour I'll not be getting back.

The fit brazilian bloke just about made up for it though, shame he didn't get through

I'm not interested in all that weeping and 'moment of truth' crap.

Lets see the dancing.

I can't see this taking off - the judges just don't work IMO

I knwo Arlene is a dancer by trade but what doe the other 2 have to do with it?

this is the only show i wish i'd seen. i love arlene and hot gossip

i can dance and would have gone in for it

nigel was a dancer on lots of tv in the 80s wasn't he? oh i loved those shows

The format has been really successful in the US.
I thought it was really good - a refreshing change to see talent show contestants with originality, and a willingness to develop their skills.

cybil Nigel is also a trained dancer and has had a dancing career, also Louise is trained too and the other guy is a choreographer I think.

3 of the elder students at my ds's dance school got through to the 1st in front of judges auditions and ds's teacher, (he's 21) got through to choreographer round, (not 3 day event) but was knocked out then.

Shame cos there is loads more dancing H said theyhad loads of rounds, would have liked to see more of that personally.

Couldn't help but watch. Have missed Arlene. Just thought it was badly edited. and we didn't see alot of how the dancers managed to end up with their group cheorography.

He, is very experienced, very rich, expert show man, like the man pre simon cowell. known for being nasty brutal.mind you, he LOOKS like nigel havers, soppy, doesn't he?? ha ha.

they have a guest judge each week ? this week is was louise. she does have dance knowledge, how much not sure.

Big fan of the US version of this show. It's a much slicker and more professional show than Strictly. More for dance fans, than celebrity fans. A lot less chat once the show proper has started. Give it a chance, it will blow you away.

am prefering Got to dance I have to say, much more personality.

I did have to laugh at how many of the contestants were from outside the UK. I will give it a go as i know nothing about dance and it will make me feel cultured.
