Anyone else watching this? Rave reviews all over the place, but I'm finding it slow and tedious.

I read the book years ago, found Sylvie more menacing in the book. Thought the programme was ok though I had recalled the book having a slightly more dramatic bit where Lelia was in labour and unwell though I could be wrong.
