Saltire · 19/12/2009 22:05

It's just you DG!
I do watch it though, I like it

50ftChristmasTree · 19/12/2009 22:12

I'm going to miss it. Watching it with DS was our little weekly ritual. Not in love with Arthur, but DS thinks he's the bees knees!

GloriaInEccentrica · 19/12/2009 22:13

no not just you DHG. have a small smouldering soft spot for Arthur. and wouldn't say no to Merlin either.
have thoroughly enjoyed this last series and will miss it very much.

Paolosgirl · 19/12/2009 22:17

DD is going to miss it for the storylines, and I'm going to miss it for Merlin

I do wish they wouldn't make him stand with the light behind those ears though, poor wee thing.

Dumbledoresgirl · 19/12/2009 22:31

LOL at not loving Arthur because he is arrogant and gives Merlin a hard time! That is exactly why I love him.

I admit Merlin is growing on me too. Though I could only love him as a mother does her child. Whereas Arthur...

What - Arthur and his unfeasibly large...adams apple? A girl could get hurt on that

Dumbledoresgirl · 19/12/2009 22:43

Hmm not particularly noticed that Paolosgirl. I can't get passed his wonderfully large blue eyes and his gorgeously muscular chest. Not to mention his manly voice. He has an attractively large ego too.

Merlin's biggest attribute, as you have already mentioned, are his ears.

How can you not have noticed - it takes up the whole screen!

Dumbledoresgirl · 19/12/2009 22:49

LOL. Surely only when Merlin's ears aren't doing so?

I will have to watch him again to see what you are talking about (oh what a burden that will be).

LOL - I have noticed that Merlin does not stand in front of the light when Arthur is standing sideways. I think the camera person has noted and understood the importance of their positioning

Saltire · 20/12/2009 11:27

Mind you, the actor who plays Merlin has a lovely accent - his real one, not his Merlin one

cornysxmasmuffmusic · 20/12/2009 11:28

I'm hoping we see more of Lancelot in the next series.

Heated · 20/12/2009 11:31

DS (5) has loved Saturday evenings: Hole in the Wall, Merlin and Strictly (or 'Striply' according to dd(3), which isn't far wrong)

Merlin is fab. I too have an appreciation for Arthur's pectorals.

SleepingLion · 20/12/2009 11:33

Hold on, hold on - I have been admiring Arthur's manly chest since the beginning of Season One I'll have you know.

Although I do have pangs of "Oh my God, I am probably old enough to be his mother" guilt - and then he takes his shirt off again...

Merlin has a lovely smile and I think his acting has come on leaps and bounds. I was so moved by his performance when he set the lady of the lake off in her boat after she had died.

But I admit I am a simple soul. I find it hard to concentrate on anyone else when Arthur is in shot. Glad I am not entirely alone here.

And tha bloody infectious grin of his.......

Ah SleepingLion, age is a horrid thing, isn't it? I am easily old enough to be his mother. Could have been legally married without parents' permission and a virgin at my wedding and still be able to be his mother, dammit.
