Big & Small - brummie/dudley

I'm so bad at accents, I only know that because it's Lenny Henry

Can you help me outwith any others?

Alex (on CBeebies) is welsh (not a very strong accent though)

Nina and the Neurons - Nina is scottish, Luke has a slightly weird caribbean (jamaican maybe) accent, Olly and Bud both have scottish accents

Jakers - they're all Irish, apart from a random american-sounding sheep

Me Too - loads of scottish accents, the teacher is (I think) welsh, the market blokey sounds like a londoner

There is probably loads more but the sheer amount if cbeebies I consume has fried my brain!

That sporty twat form Lazytown - bloody annoying.
Wee lassie - american.

Balamory - loads of different ones, Scottish {Miss Hoolie} American [Spencer] posho (Archie)

I'm Irish and the Jakers accents annoy me the most. (although it is quite a good tv programme when you give it a chance and get past the diddly eyedlee factor

Fifi and the Flowertots has quite a few accents. Fifi is wherever Jane Horrocks comes from, Aunt Tulip is Caribbean, Poppy West Country, Webby is Welsh.

Big Chris is Peter Kay and he's from Bolton.

I thought the market blokey on Me Too was from Manchester or similar?

SpottyMuldoon · 16/12/2009 01:41

Ah, I just looked up market blokey. He's from Liverpool originally.

oooh, I thought this thread had died a death - THANK you for replying

Nina and her neurons, yes I thought it a bit strange to have a west indian accent in there with the scottish

Jakers - I have it on vaguely reliable source that they are voiced by real Irish people. But maybe not!
