can anyone remember this documentary?

Am trying to get an update on a boy who was featured in a documentary years ago. He had a cleft palate and was adopted from his home country (can't remember where) by a scottish couple who lived in the USA.

I found the programme really interesting and for some reason it popped into my head the other day but i can't remember the name of the family or even the boy.

help please!

It def sound like Boy David -adopted from South America by scottish surgeon and wife. Surgeon did all the facial ops on him and they emigrated to US.
