Eastenders Ian & Bianca

I was watching Easteneder earlier and Ian was in the cafe talking to Bianca and asked if she was trying to get an invite to share his hot tub. She replied, disgusted that she was his Niece.

I've been trying to think how Bianca could be Ian's Niece and I can't think. Ian doesn't have any siblings who would have been with Bianca's mum Carole. Bianca's dad is David Wicks, who I don't think is related to Ian. Does anyone know how they came to be related?

David Wicks brother was Nick Berry who was a policeman in the sixties but before that fathered Ian's eldest with Sindy....Um...

I don't know that Kathy & Pete Beale were around when Carole Jackson and her Clan moved into the Square.

Only thing I can think is Stephen, Ian's mad son was really the son of Pat's son Simon, making her his Grandmother, Pat is also Bianca's Grandmother, unless the writers are confused.

Ian's Dad Pete dies in a taxi incident in Leicester.....or was it Glasgow?

Pete Beale is David Wicks dad, so Ian and David are half brothers. David is Biancas dad.

David Wicks is Ian's half brother so Ian is Bianca's uncle. Pete Beale and Pat were once married and had two boys, David and Simon. Their subsequent stepfather Brian Wicks adopted them.

Thanks, it all makes sense now. I hadn't realised or perhaps forgot Ian's dad fathered David Wicks, Bianca's dad. Ian treats her really badly considering they're family
