Wasn't it lovely? I was a huge fan of hers while a child.

I didn't know she'd had such tragedy in her life and had died in poverty.

Did you watch the ballet on afterwards?

A-M D is a brilliant actress. Both dh and I had no idea that she had died in poverty. The actor who played whodynicabollockoff was fantastic too. Margot's 'husband'had an awful accent though.

I loved the programme but agree with Kreecher that Tito's accent was just hilarious and distracting.

Thought A-MD was just fabulous. Margot's story is very tragic though. Seems like she was used on all sides. The chap who played Nureyev was good too - he got that haughty conceited image down pat

I was rather when she removed her pointe shoes and left bloody footprints on the floor. I studied ballet throughout my childhood and teens and never bled like that. Was an incredibly poignant use of imagery to represent the pain she felt throughout her life

I thought this was great but very limited in its scope. Just about Margot and Rudolf really. Would have liked it to be about her life story. Watched both progs on Enid Blyton and makes you realised how unreal the dramas are compared to documentaries.
