...And I am going to need a copy of this for my teaching.

We ALL had these posters, didn't we? Those of us who are ancient old enough anyway.

It's brilliant isn't it? I grew up with Tennis Arse Girl on my parents' bedroom wall.

Botbot · 16/11/2009 21:44

Surprised they haven't mentioned Jack Vettriano and that sodding butler yet.

AitchTwoToTangOh · 16/11/2009 21:45

they will.

WilfSell · 16/11/2009 21:46

Vettriano all over the BBC pages

I love Sue. I love that she's not being snobby or condescending.

Botbot - on your PARENTS' wall????

AitchTwoToTangOh · 16/11/2009 21:49

and it's clearly had a lasting effect on you botbot.

squeaver · 16/11/2009 21:51

Liked the guy who took photos of his block of flats.

WilfSell · 16/11/2009 21:52

Yeah. He was great.

uh oh here comes Jack...

Yep. Ironically, I believe (or so they tell me). They were quite young parents .

They had a big print of Bruegel's Children Playing on the opposite wall - they weren't COMPLETE philistines. And loads of my uncle's art-school daubings around the rest of the house.

oh-oh, here's that unpleasant Mr Vettriano.

Botbot · 16/11/2009 21:55

Indeed, aitch!

WilfSell · 16/11/2009 21:55

Botbot, are you me? WE had Breughel.

Vettriano is utterly horrific. Step up from dogs playing snooker.

He's a nasty piece of work too (have very vague work connection with him).

Botbot · 16/11/2009 22:01

vettriano not breugel.

KeithTalent · 16/11/2009 22:01

Would anyone else shag Vettriano?

WilfSell · 16/11/2009 22:06

ew. Someone with such a voyeuristic eye? N fecking way.

Vettriano makes my skin crawl - paintings and man.

I missed the beginning of this, but it looked quite interesting, is it a one off?

We had Bruegel too! Mind you we also had a large poster of Gary Glitter, and a 1950's fridge door with a painting of a womans legs on it!

MadBadandDangerousToKnow · 16/11/2009 22:26

I loved the programme - especially Wayne Hemingway and his 12 foot tall Tretchikoff.
