Tonight on BBC4 at 10pm 'Classic Albums - Rio' followed by documentary 'Wild Boys the Duran Duran Story'.

Yes it's time to dust off your pedal pushers, apply that green eyeliner (was that just me?) and flick your hair! Swoon over John Taylor in that white suit and trilby (don't forget to roll up the sleeves!), pant to Hungry like the Wolf and smooch along to Save a Prayer!!

Am going to get out my Rio CD and play in the car to get me in the mood. I think you will find it is still a great pop album!

I recently read Andy Taylor's autobiograpghy and also another Duran 'uncovered' book, whick kind of shook my opinions slightly of the him and the band, but hey I knew they were no angels!!

He has still got 'it' even after all these years.

I saw them live this summer. Awesome. Although Simon Le Bon is clearly in no doubt that he still Has It, judging by all the crotch-thrusting anyway.

Just watched it on Sky+. In retrospect, they weren't the prettiest bunch were they.

am watching it now - it's bringing back so many memories. I'd never have thought I'd be saying this 25 years ago (eek is it really 25?!) but Roger is looking really good now
never got to go and see them as a teenager (my mum wouldn't let me ) but saw them a few years back with my fellow durannie at that time and they were fantastic

Simon Le Bon was the one for me, have also recently read Andy Taylor's book, do you know I really though they were clean living boys, how naive was I.

They are really great live too. Oh I can't believe I missed this. I've come over all 14 again.

Any idea why Andy wasn't on the programme? Have they fallen out?
