I used to think he was a convincing doctor in that other series, but he is waste of space in waterloo road.

i love waterloo road and wish he would bugger off! hes ruining this series for me.

This programme has always been daft but it is now ridiculous.

the staff room for a big comprehensive only has 6 teachers in it (obviously their extras budget is a bit tight ), I cannot work out the ages of the kids - how come all the 6th formers wear uniform and all seem to be studying French, Science and English? The alleged Y10s look like 12 year olds to me ...

I do wonder if any of the scriptwriters has ever actually set foot inside a school in the last 10 years?

The episode last week where the senior staff were interviewing the girl and the boy she accused of sexual assault in their offices was a joke. Why was there no police involvement?

And why does Tom Chambers seem to shout in that absurd voice all the time, he sounds like a kid trying to talk like an adult. Used to love this programme but now it just seems to make me laugh at how ridiculous its got.

Though pleased they covered the ethanol in juice topic this week, always get asked this in school when using it for a practical.

It is all rather improbable but for those of us who were original Grange Hill fans it fills a gap ! There is a report today that some kids have copied the ethanol drinking . TC isn't bad eye candy either, anyone else betting his character is married .....

Don't me wrong, its ridiculous and over the top but its on Sky Plus series link and I watch it every week.

Never mind Tom Chambers being unbelievable the Rachel character isn't much better.

I always think it's very comical that they all seem keen to go down the pub just as the kids have left- FFS IT'S HALF PAST THREE IN THE AFTERNOON!

Strange also how the French teacher doesn't appear to be able to speak French. "Bon joor mon sewer. Parly voo fronses?"

And what kind of idiots do they think we are to seriously believe that any private school would merger with a (not very good) comprehensive? Wouldn't the parents have something to say about this?

Agree this series is the biggest pile of doo doo. The DDs love it though.

It is just lazy television, all independent school teachers are anal, overly strict and snobby. All state school teachers have a 3rd and low expectations. Independent school kids have perfect uniform and are clever, state school kids are ferrel. Is Xenia a consultant for the programme.

I love the fact that it is a "challenging school" but often all it takes is a teacher to walk in and say "be quiet" and they all do.

I watched all the last series but I've given up on this one already. I switched off halfway through the second episode because I literally couldn't bear to watch any more.

And I'll sit through any old rubbish normally.
