How come Tony isn't dead?

I don't understand. He has this congenital heart condition, which finished both his father and uncle off in their prime, so how has he made this miraculous recovery, when the hospital said he wouldn't last through the night. Surely with such a serious condition he shouldn't be sitting up in bed, carrying on as though nothing happened.

Watching with interest as I missed that episode. Very confusing but I am glad he is still alive so I can still listen to his lovely Glaswegian voice and watch his large evil eye.

I'm very worried for Roy.
Things are going to get bad for him - he's going to wrestle with his conscience. He's a very principled man.
Tony may think he's paid him off - they did shake hands but....
I'm really worried for him.
Maybe Tony will die.
I hope so for Roy's sake.

I wonder if Carla will find out Jimmy isn't dead and Tony duped her? He's bound to be found out eventually.

I just wonder if she is coming back into it again?
