When do the BBC decide on the times of programmes on Christmas Day?

Our Christmas Radio Times drops through the door about 3 weeks before, not sure where they'd be published before that. Can you not ask a friend/relative to record it if you find out you're stuck? Ot it'll be on the iplayer.

i'll guess dr who will be on at 5 or six, eastenders will be on the rest of the time on bbc

Yep but sometimes it isn't on 'til 7 & we have to fit a 3-4 hr journey then we are away for a week

If you're a DT fan, there's also Hamlet to consider - I think that's about 2.5 hours long....

1 program I want to watch, my 11yo wants to watch , my dad & husband both want to watch - I just need to organise it; Out of all the crap programmes specially scheduled for Christmas I just want to watch 1
