Its on sky 1 on thursdays, we've just watched last nights. It started last week. Its american and its a dad (granda age) married to a much younger glamourous south american with a son about 10. Then there's his adult son who is gay who's just adopted a baby with his partner, and the grown up daughter who's married with a couple of children. Its filmed as a 'mock' documentary type of thing - the way The Office was and I cant recommend it highly enough, very funny!

and his dad always over announces himself before entering-just in case.

madwomanintheattic · 23/10/2009 23:51

have you seen the one where they take the baby to a mums and tots group yet? he has to 'tone down' the wardrobe and promise not to be too gay - v v funny.

SixtyFootGhoul · 24/10/2009 08:20

We really love it - very very good. All of the characters are great. Yes, the Lion King bit was fantastic.

LittleWhiteWereWolf · 24/10/2009 21:17

Watched it today after getting it off Sky Anytime---fricking hilarious. DH and I guffawed all the way through it.

Has finally clicked that Grampa is Al Bundy. I KNEW I knew him.

SixtyFootGhoul · 24/10/2009 22:06

I let my DS's watch it, they are 6 and 9 . they loved it too.
I think its goo that it portrays gay relationships as normal and as tricky as straight ones.
It is just brilliant!

I loved the bit where the man who adopted the baby was saying that he was finding it hard to lose the baby weight While his partner looked at him like this .

Blondeshavemorefun · 25/10/2009 09:11

makes a change to have a good comedy

FoJo · 25/10/2009 09:17

Yes my dd aged 11 loves it, although my ds aged 8 thinks its boring - no accounting for taste!

I was really pleasantly surprised at how funny it was. Was ROFL. It's now on sky plus.

The lion king entrance in the first episode was pure genius!
