Hollyoaks - "Ste"? His name is STEVE!!!

Ok I know there are bigger and more important things in the world to get het up about, but why oh WHY do they keep calling 'Steve' in Hollyoaks by the name 'Ste'?

I want to smash the telly whenever some idiot one says it.

Am I alone!?

Perhaps I need to just chill out a bit!!

I hate the name Steven/Stephen/Steve being shortened to Ste. It just sounds so ridiculous. (Grandad and Uncle were both Stephens). Its a bit like Tracy being shortened to Tray. Some names just cannot be shortened.

Yes - it just shouldn't be shortened. It's not like Steve is a long and complicated name. It's still one syllable!!
