An interesting insight into how the police operate I think

I watched it and thought it was fascinating.

All those resources, time and money wasted on stupid women

stupid women?

They were rape victims?

Sorry I meant to put woman singular.

The episode focused on a woman who willingly went back to a hotel with a group of amateur footballers on a stag do and had sex with one of them, stayed the night and left happily chatting to them the next morning. She then told the police she had been raped.

After weeks of police work it emerged that she had lied and the case was dropped and they were thinking of charging her with wasting police time.

It's not fair to genuine victims to have women like this divert resources and make people doubt rape victims.
