Did Whitney look as wired and weird as Robbie last week on X factor?

I didn't think she was in the Robbie league, but she definitely looked a bit odd. She looked great when she was singing but I was cringing when she was interviewed.

thought she answered the question of "what do you think of the contestants" as diplomatically as possible. "I think they need to grow a lot..."

Ha ha! Yes I wasn't concerned when she was singing but blimey o'reilly, once they started talking to her..... The contestants should be running a mile now they've seen Robbie & Whitney - get thee back to thy day job!

I thought she handled that well too, she basically said 'they are all a bit shit really' didn't she? I can't imagine what she made of the twins at the masterclass!

As a big fan of Whitney I had been looking forward to seeing her all week, what a total letdown she was. Think I'll be giving her show at the MEN next year a miss!

Cheryl's outfit looked awful as well. What was going on with that hat and leotard?? She's doing my head in as well now with her 'concerned elder sister' thing she has going on...

Alexandra's song and perforamance was loads better.

I was trying to work out who Cheryl's costume was reminding me of, when husband pointed it out.

Although only those who played early console games will get this, she was dressed as M. Bison from Streetfighter.

I don't think it is a very good example to set. I watched both last week's show and this week's with my ds 12 who noticed with both of them that they were acting strangely. This is supposed to be family entertainment.

I watch with the kids and it's rather odd dealing with 'special guests' who are being bigged up who are obviously off their faces.

I'd say Robbie was on drugs, but Whitney seemed more pissed than drugged......

Very poor of X Factor though. Very poor.

In part I agree it's poor, but this is the reality isn't it?

Drugs are a huge, huge part of the music industry, and those who don't at some point have issues with substances are in the minority.

Perhaps this will bring home the message that if you make it in the music industry this is what you ultimately become.

You know her appearance on the show made me so I have loved whitney for years but to see someone looking and sounding so dreadful is horrible. I felt like i had watched a train wreck.

But remember she had a huge problem with crack cocaine. And I don't think anyone with an addiction like that (do you remember the photos taken of her home when she was on crack?) ever goes back to normal. Plus in America it seems if you have money and fame, you can get a doctor to prescribe you anything. Robbie was also known to have a prescription drug addiction. It wasn't only Robbie and Whitney, do you remember Britney as well looking completely out of it last season. I agree, it's not right to show totally-out-of-it celebrities on prime time family TV.

On a lighter not, was not a fan of Cheryl's outfit, especially that hat!

I thought Robbie seemed un-drugged. He was clearly anxious and being weird because of that.
Whitney - yikes - she could bearly talk and was definitely under the influence of something. When her dress snapped... Ooopsy. Someone was fired for sure.

Dh walked into the room, asked 'why is Whitney doing the backing vocals?' and walked out. She hardly seemed to do any actual singing apart from the waily bits
