Anyone watched the family?

I realise I'm probably a bit behind the times, but it's brilliant. Why haven't I seen this before?
What happens, does this emily character sort herself out?

It was great. Loved the son. He was so sweet.

I love the family. It's so good. I don;t know why Mum doesn't stand up to Emily a bit more, instead of whinging to the Dad.
