who watched first episode of Doc Martin?

Just wondered what you thought of first episode? I really love it, even though they have the obligatory gang of teenage girls walking down the street giggling almost every week and Mrs Tishall with the STUPID neck brace!! Just hope he eventally ends up with Louisa - that surgeon was so annoying! Do love Stephanie Beacham in it, though - feel old as I can remember her in "Tenko" - another great programme......

I've only seen the odd episode but like it. I've Sky +'d the latest one but I don't know what happened between him & the teacher - did they get married? Presumably not, going by your post!

I do like Doc Martin though, it's one of those nice bits of fluff that you can watch without having to think about it. BUT that Mrs Tishell's deaf husband story was really annoying. Hope they aren't going to string that one out.
