I was just saying that she was a prime example of cats bum mouth

McDreamy · 17/09/2009 20:45

I would love to be a restaurant critic though!

cleaningsucks · 17/09/2009 20:45

Literally came on here to post exactly that. Her face when he said the tarte tatin would be late. cow!

cripesalorky · 17/09/2009 20:46

That was a proper picture, cleaningsucks!

Also - while we're on the subject - how the f* does shouting "two minutes over, two minutes over" while someone is trying to plate up neatly, or slicing an orange with a sharp knife?

McDreamy · 17/09/2009 20:49

"don't forget to say sorry, don't forget to apologise" - he's not a child

cripesalorky · 17/09/2009 20:49

help? How does it help? I know the timing thing is really annoying. They obviously need to give them a bit more time ! it's just for added hysteria, methinks.

She had loads of surgery and botox for a piece in the Times - did not work, methinks....

McDreamy · 17/09/2009 20:51

Poor chap, talk about heaping on the pressure

As the critic said better to be 5 mins late and very well cooked.

cripesalorky · 17/09/2009 20:52

I watched this for the first time this evening. Am totally hooked, now obviously.

Loved every minute of this week's shows although we thought the "late" bloke with the well cooked pigeon and yummy medley of fruits would get through.

However contrary to the above answers I think the time thing is perfectly fair. If the others have to get it out on time then he should too. Also if he was in a kitchen for real then he'd have the head chef shouting at him so good practise.

Everytime I watch this I think - why does anyone want to be a chef, unsociable hours, ordinary wages and loads of stress.

Mybox · 17/09/2009 22:02

2 mins to go - with all that cabbage to chop!!! lol would take me hours at home.
