Saw it right up to when they realised that bloke with the elephant was the police bloke.

They got him-Jane had realised he was dumar(heavy smoker)and had hoped to find Red John and then get him.

Video cameras in that house and a steaming cup of tea made them realise Red John had been there watching the whole time and had run away.

(now gets ridiculous) Cop was left injured on stretcher completely unguarded and girl was few feet away. He had key to unlock his own handcuffs from his pocket and grabed gun off nearby cop and tried to shoot girl and Jane grabbed his shotgun and shot him-so he died and with it the only hope of finding out who Red John was and is!

That all make sense?
