I have been watching the weekly More 4 repeats of the West Wing since the very first episode 3 or so years ago having somehow missed out first time around. Tonight is the very last episode!

DH and I have not missed one and it has been the best thing I have ever seen on TV.

I am officially in love with Jed Bartlet but rather scared that Aaron Sorkin seemed to have had some sort of premonition of Barack Obama when he wrote the Matthew Santos character.

I must go now and make sure I have some nice wine to get me through this sad time. Any suggestions for a replacement?

Omar is an amazing character. They all are.

There's much I'd like to say, but can't unless I'm talking to someone who's seen all five season...

I think I'm going to go and watch some Wire instead

We've got the box set and it has got me through 2 pregnancies, 2 lots of maternity leave and lots of ironing. CJ is my favourite character though, particularly when she sang the Jackal.

COuldn't get into the Wire, but want to try the box set with subtitles because I cna't stand the fact that everyone raves about it and I haven't seen it.

redorwhite, I had heard that about Pres Obama....I think his communication folks where trying to play it down, but was a serious foux pas on his part.

llareggub...try to get the wire off of LoveFilm or similar site, that way you con decide if you really do like it before forking out too much money, although, I think series 1 is about £15 on amazon.

Another show I love love love..is grey's anatomy. Interest watching and very easily followed.

If you liked The West Wing, the DVD box set of 'John Adams' might be something you'd like.
